Portofino Tower South Beach
300 South Pointe Drive
The Portofino Tower situated at 300 South Pointe Drive in Miami Beach, in the area also known as SoFi (South of Fifth), is a residential institution in South Beach. The skyscraper with its 147.50 meters in height surpassed La Gorce Palace as the tallest building in Miami Beach in 1997.
Portofino residences offer spectacular views over the Atlantic Ocean, downtown Miami, and Biscayne Bay. The luxury Miami Beach tower boasts a unique 4-story lobby and on the 29th floor residents find all the amenities of a superior luxury condo complex, including a health spa and gymnasium.
The 44-story tower features floor to ceiling windows, one to four bedroom floor plans and the laminated glass windows underwent wind tunnel and missile impact tests to protect from extreme atmospheric conditions.
Now with its more than $22 million makeover, South Pointe Park is practically at the foothills of Portofino Tower and residents enjoy daytime and nighttime (neon lit) strolls in this dog-friendly environment.
The Portofino Tower is a lifestyle destination and certainly is the embodiment of what 'they' know and hear about living in South Beach.
The Portofino Tower is sometimes confused with Murano at Portofino, Murano Grande at Portofino and The Yacht Club at Portofino. These are entirely different complexes, but are as well Miami Beach condos / properties.
The tallest buildings in the city of Miami Beach are Blue Diamond and Green Diamond and those were completed in 2000.
